Procedural Writing, the Water Cycle Song and Marshmallow Spaghetti Challenge 2.0

Today we talked about Mary and the Angel Gabriel telling her she would have a child named Jesus.  In writing, we continue to work on Procedural Writing. After watching a video about feeding chickadees, we wrote a piece of writing about 'How To Feed a Chickadee'.

Using our Procedural Writing anchor chart, the classes wrote a 'how to' piece about the video. We did a pretty good job! (Thanks Dawid for 'bumping up' our sentence).

We also listened to some great Water Cycle songs.  Take a look (and listen)!  Perhaps, our class will make their own music video:)

On Wednesday, we tried the Marshmallow Spaghetti Challenge again!  We learned a lot about building structures and character!
