Another Busy Friday!

#GRALauren
This week, we read 'The Troublemaker' by Lauren Castillo for the Global Read Aloud. We had lots of discussion about the art work and used clues from the text to predict what might happen in the story. Check out Lauren's blog here. Students were invited to bring their stuffies to school.  They had to write about what would happen if their own stuffy was 'coon napped' by the mischievous raccoon in the story. Take a look at what we came up with!

We finished up our Digital Citizenship posters and demonstrated how to be safe online.

In Math, we continue to work on representing and comparing numbers.  Students are encouraged to use the base ten blocks when working with numbers. This morning we had to figure out a solution to the following problem:

One possible solution (which met all the criteria) was 3 hundreds, 3 tens and 2 ones.
