Shrove Tuesday

We watched a cute video today explaining what Shrove Tuesday (or Pancake Day) is all about.  Enjoy!

In Language, we listened to the story 'A Bad Case of Stripes'.  We had to use our visualization skills because we did not get to see the pictures.  At three points in the story, we had to draw the image of the main character Camilla Cream.  Later on, we got to see the book and compare our images to the story.

Pancake Tuesdayand 2D Scavenger Hunt

What is Pancake (or Shrove) Tuesday? In the gym tomorrow, we will have an Ash Wednesday liturgy at 9:45.

In Math, we continue to explore 2D shapes.  With a partner, students created a piccollage about 2D shapes they found in the classroom.  Each student uploaded it to their kidblog and then they uploaded it to our padlet wall.
