Happy Mother's Day and 3D Geometry

In math, we have been exploring the properties of 3D Shapes and created our own shapes using nets. We also had a chance to create skeletons of shapes (just the edges and vertices) with no faces.  Using Seesaw, we took photos and labelled our skeletongs. As well, we compared prisms and pyramids. All of these are great ways to explore shapes with hands on experiences!
In Language, we are writing an adventure narrative about finding a map in the playground.
Don't forget tomorrow we have Scientists in School...it should be really messy so don't wear any fancy clothing.

In Math, we investigated the properties of prisms and pyramids.  Here is what we noticed!
