We Scare Hunger and Rounding Numbers

Today we kicked off our We Scare Hunger campaign at Holy Redeemer. The Social Justice club is holding a food drive from October 24th to October 31st.  All goods collected will be going to the Kanata Food Cupboard.  Thanks in advance!

In Math, we are learning to round numbers to the nearest ten,  Here is a video that we watched to review the concept.

Sorry for the homework delay! Technical difficulties!  Homework has been given to your child. They are going to glue it in the proper place in their homework notebooks:) It will be due on Friday instead of Thursday.

We Scare Hunger and All About...NIKITA!

We have begun to collect cans for our annual 'We Scare Hunger' food drive at St. Cecilia.  A big thank you to Sophia who brought in our first cans for the drive. The class that collects the MOST cans will have the opportunity to duct tape the principal and vice-principal to the wall...here...let me remind you what that was all about...

Water Cycle Video

We are learning about the water cycle.  Today, we listened to a song about the cycle and are going to make our own music video.  Here is the song so you can practice the lyrics!

We are still collecting canned goods for the Barrhaven Food Cupboard.  The kids were asked to figure out how many cans both classes have brought in so far.  Take a look at what we came up with! We brought in A LOT of cans and a lot of families will benefit from our generosity!
