Phew! The weekend is almost here!

Today, we collaborated in our groups again to come up with ways to show numbers.  Each group had a different number (6-10) and had to show as many ways to represent their number. Some groups used tally marks, others used a number line and one group came up with using the word to show their number (e.g. 6 is six).  Later on, we began writing about our summer vacation.  Isaac went to the Bay of Fundy and so did I!  We even got to see some whales!  At the end of the day, we listened to the story of Decibella-a girl who always screamed when she was talking.  We practiced the different voice levels so we knew what was expected of us at school.  Ask your child if they can tell you the 5 voice levels in the book.  We also watched a short bus safety video. After a long day, we danced to Go Noodle!  Tomorrow, we will be meeting up with the other grade two classes in the gym...should be fun:)
