Homework was sent home in the yellow folder. You will find homework for this week and next.
In math, we continue to work on patterning. Students were asked to create a pattern using the 100 chart. After double-checking our work (something we continue to work on!), they had to upload and share on our padlet. Here are our hundred chart patterns!
We continue to explore the needs of humans. For our read aloud, we listened to the story by Mem Fox called 'Whoever You Are'. Even though we live in different parts of the world, look different and even speak different languages, we are still alike in many ways. We then took a look at the parent homework responses and noticed that most of the parents needed the same things as us!
People need the same things! |
Later on, we read the story 'The Crippled Lamb' and did a shared retell of the story using a Shape Go Map. The story is about a little lamb with a bad leg who cannot do all the things that the other sheep can. At the end of the story, Joshua discovers that God has a special plan for him!
Just for fun!
