Yesterday, we met with Mr. D and Mr. Armstrong's Grade 4 classes to create a 'How to' book about making hot chocolate. First we went over the success criteria and watched (and took photos on the ipads) of Mr. D making yummy hot chocolate. Next we wrote up a procedural writing entitled "How to Make Hot Chocolate". When we finished this part of the work, we took our ipads and used the book creator app to make a book. They turned out really well but the best part was drinking the delicious hot chocolate.
